Data Driven Analytics – supporting the next generation of Australian Data Engineers and Data Scientists
A scholarship designed to support the growing business analytics and data science industries for students who show they have the ability to show innovative thinking using data and analytics. By helping to support, mentor and develop students who have a natural ability working with data and artificial intelligence, we can help Australians to be recognised worldwide for their impressive skills. By assisting students financially, they have more time to allocate to their studies and by providing expert mentoring, students will have the opportunity to learn real-world skills, preparing them for a successful career.
The DDA Scholarship was created in 2019 by Consulting Director, Jason Tan. Passionate about data analytics, Jason sees this as an opportunity to support the next generation of data specialists who are currently studying. The objective of the scholarship is to provide some financial support and expert mentoring to the successful recipients which will in turn create graduates who are better prepared to enter the workforce.

The application process
At DDA, we like to challenge conventional thinking. We pride ourselves on being able to think creatively in a dynamic and ever-changing data driven world.
While research into your chosen sustainable development goal is recommended, we are not looking for a literature review or summary of what currently exists. What we want to see is some blue sky thinking to address the social issue by using your knowledge of data analytics and data science in a new and interesting way. Finding the right balance between innovative, creative thinking, while also developing a realistic solution will be the key to success in your submission.
